Many of us will have watched Papillon, Cool Hand Luke or The Shawshank Redemption. Yes, these were all dramatisations, but all depicted the psychological impacts of solitary confinement. Of course, lockdown hasn’t been that bad, but make no mistake, for some, this will have really hurt.
With the States of Jersey easing ‘Back to Work’ restrictions, many workers will emerge from confinement, blinking into the sun. Will agoraphobia be our new social pandemic?
